Your maximum Flegzy term depends on your course and which year of it you're in. For a 3-year degree, the maximum term is 3 years from the date of admission to college. For a 2-year course such as an MBA it's 2 years, and for a 4-year course such as BE/BTech it's 4 years from the date of admission.
On top of that, you'll be eligible for an extension of 6–12 months at a lower monthly rate.
Yes, if you're in a 3-year or 4-year course! Your Flegzy term is determined by the balance length of your course. You can pick a term of 24/36 months such that it doesn't exceed 36 months from the date of admission for a 3-year course, or 48 months from the date of admission for a 4-year course.
So a BE student at the end of 1st year would be eligible for a 36-month plan, and a 3-year degree student at the end of 1st year would be eligible for a 24-month plan.
You have three options:
Any of these can be chosen through the app. You'll get a notification 1 month before the end of term on the app / WhatsApp / email.
You'll have the option to buy at the end of the contract period, and we'll be fair in our pricing. If you don't agree with our price, send us a link to a genuine listing of the same model and similar age — and you can buy at 15% less than the price in that link. Either way, if you want the laptop, it's yours!
Only the additional amount over and above your upfront security deposit is payable. For example, if the security deposit is ₹7,500 and the buyout price quoted is ₹10,000, you'd only pay ₹2,500 more to make the laptop yours.
Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) covers sudden, unintentional mishaps like cracked screens, liquid spills and accidental drops. It strictly excludes non-accidental events such as normal wear and tear, intentional damage, and issues with external accessories.
Extended Warranty replicates the extended warranty provided by the laptop brand (Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo). All repairs and replacements are through authorized service centres.
There are two layers of protection:
There's no fee for repairs under warranty. We charge a nominal fee of ₹1,000–2,000 (depending on the value of the laptop) for claims under ADP or Insurance.
Your data on a Flegzy device is as secure as on any other device you own. The only additional application installed is the MDM for tracking and remote locking, which is a significant theft deterrent. We install no other software, and we cannot access any of the data on your hard drive or your browsing data.
At the end of the term, if you return the device, we securely wipe the data and provide certification for the same.
You don't have to track! Set up auto-debit so monthly payments are hassle-free and you never have to think about them.
We'll still send reminders, just in case. If you miss a payment, we'll let you know. If, despite multiple reminders, payment still isn't made, we may temporarily lock the device until payments are back on track — and as soon as you pay, the device is back on.
Monthly amounts aren't high, so set up auto-debit for an easy payment experience.
